Antoni Dalmau Bueno. Nacido el 2 de mayo de 1977 en Arenys de Mar (Barcelona). Licenciado en Veterinaria por la  Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) en el año 2000. Máster en Producción Animal en 2003. Doctor en el año 2005. Máster en Industrias Cárnicas en 2006. Diplomado del European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine en la subespecialidad de Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law en el año 2016. Trabajando en el IRTA desde el año 2005, actualmente en el Programa de Nutrición y Bienestar Animal. Campos de trabajo: estrés, conducta social y adaptación al entorno;  bienestar animal en granja y matadero de porcino, aves, conejos y rumiantes; test de aversión, miedo, dolor y comportamientos anormales en cerdos y rumiantes; uso de gases para el aturdimiento de cerdos y conejos; sacrificio religioso de rumiantes, aves y conejos. Participación en un total de 34 proyectos (23 de los cuales europeos). 59 artículos científicos en revistas indexadas, 2 libros, 27 capítulos de libros, 42 artículos en revistas de divulgación y 106 presentaciones a congresos. Más de 1400 horas de formación para profesionales tales como veterinarios, ganaderos, personal de matadero y transportistas en el ámbito del bienestar animal, incluyendo la participación como experto en más de 20 cursos organizados por la UE dentro del programa Better Training for Safer Food.
