Hunter Guilty of Animal Abuse for Shooting Neighbors’ Cat

Criminal Court no. 2 of Córdoba has found a man guilty for shooting his neighbors’ cat with a firearm. As a result of the aggression, the cat lost its left paw, which had to be amputated.

For these acts, which took place on April 25, 2011, the sentence imposes an imprisonment of 3 months on the perpetrator, as well as payment corresponding to the veterinary costs required for the cat’s treatment.
