Last 22nd of May 2015, the students of the Master in Animal Law and Society visited the Veterinary Hospital Clinic. During the visit, Phd. Dídac Segura showed the students the different installations located in the old and new buildings (after the 2008 expansion) of the Hospital. Moreover, the students could observe the different rooms in which the animal patients (dogs, cats, and other little animals) are received; the consulting room, the hospitalization zone and the operating theatre, among others. In addition, the students visited the equine centre’s installations, which include operating theaters, radiology rooms and stables. This visit helped the students understand the practical work undertaken by veterinarians and their relation to animal welfare.
