Agnès Dufau, Student of the 1st Edition of the Master in Animal Law and Society, Winner of the International Cat Care Welfare Award


In a ceremony celebrated in the Birmingham Burlington Hotel, on Wednesday, 2 April 2014, Agnès Dufau (Student of the Master in Animal Law and Society) was recognized with the 2014 Animal Welfare Award by Ceva in the International Cat Care Welfare Award category, thanks to her excellent work at the helm of the Plataforma Gatera.
The Animal Welfare Awards recognize the work of professionals such as Agnès dedicated to improving animal welfare and protection across the globe. Hundreds of participants sought the award in each of the established categories, and the winners were decided by a panel of renowned professionals and Experts in animal welfare.
From the Research Group Animals Law and Society, we wish to congratulate Agnès Dufau for her commitment and effort throughout the years at the head of Plataforma Gatera and projects such as CaroCat (with Vier Pfoten European Office Brussels); and hope that her work continues to bear fruit for animals.
