“Animal Law” is a collection promoted and coordinated by the International Center for Animal Law and Policy (ICALP) of the Law Faculty at the UAB, which publishes international and multi-disciplinary works on Animal Law and Animal Welfare Science. The publications in this collection are directed toward the scientific and academic community, as well as toward a more general readership that seeks to stay informed or has a professional interest in keeping up to date with these issues. All who consider animals to be an important part of our society will find this collection to be an essential guide.
The fundamental aims of the collection include: spreading awareness of scientific advancements and public policies on animal law, constructing a core of independent and well-grounded opinions that facilitates access to revived and refreshed knowledge on human – animal relations, disseminating the results of investigations, both Spanish and international, in animal law, and sharing original, unpublished, scientifically-reviewed works, especially those produced as part of the Animal Law and Society Master at the UAB. .
