Title: Madrid hosts the 1st Conference on the Situation of Animals in Spanish Universities: Teaching and Research

Abstract: On 5th November, at the Law Faculty, the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, hosted the first "Situation of animals in Spanish universities: teaching and research" conference, with five experts on the subject as speakers. Subjects such as animal practices and testing, and how the life in confinement affect the proper growth of animals, the problems that students face in case of refusing to experiment on them and the opportunity to give a second life to rescued animals, were key to the seminary that ended with overall success.
