Micrcochip yourself

Activity type
On July 21st, Catalonia’s governemt introduced the campaign “Micrcochip yourself” (Posa’t el xip) focused on responsible ownership of companion animals. The aim of the campaign is to increase the identification, registration and censuing of companion animals, mainly dogs and cats.

Land and sustainable development Minister Mr. Josep Rull aired the results of a previous study showing that the higher is the identification and registration of dogs and cats, the lower is the abandonment rate of companion animals.
