Two Army officers, sentenced for illegal hunting in the military compound

The Supreme Court has turned down the appeals of two Army officers serving in the military base of El Vacar against the sentence of the Military Court – now final – that sentenced each one to a one year and two months of prison, including suspension of employment and salary for hunting without permission from 2008 to 2010, using Army’s material, into the military compound where civilians can be found. The sentenced captain had acknowledgement of the hunt outings of the, also sentenced, second lieutenant but he did not take action to stop it.
