The PSOE presents claims against the Animal ordinance of Granada and demands its withdrawal

In the month of February we made reference to the fact that the Municipal Government of Granada had decided to update its municipal ordinance regarding animal ownership in the city, during the month of March, the Municipal Government opened the period for claims against the new ordinance.

Now, the PSOE [Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party] has presented claims against this ordinance, demanding its withdrawal due to a lack of consensus; since, according to the statements released by the party, the only goal of the new regulation is to collect fines. We remind you that among other measures, the regulation establishes that any persons who have more than three animals in their house must pay a tax.
