Overcrowding and abuse of 56 hunting dogs in the Community of Madrid. Criminal charges for the owner

The Civil Guard of Villa del Prado (Community of Madrid) has charged the owner of 58 dogs on the presumption of animal abuse. The dogs were found in an overcrowded enclosure of approximately 30 square meters, in deficient hygienic-sanitary and feedings conditions, some of which were without a microchip and with their cuts by knife.

In the location, the bodies of two dogs were found along with 56 living animals, almost 20 of which had to be urgently hospitalized. The rest were rescued by various protector agencies, among them El Refugio, which will represent the particular prosecution in the judicial proceedings.
