Animal Law in the Nordic Countries: Aims, Structure, Substance, Control Appeal and Sanctions
On Thursday and Friday, February 27-28, 2014, starting at 3:30 p.m., Professor Dr. Anna Birgitta Wahlberg (Åbo Akademi University) will teach classes entitled Animal Law in the Nordic Countries: Aims, Structure, Substance, Control Appeal and Sanctions taking place in Aula 1 of the Faculty of Law as part of the Master in Animal Law and Society.
Dr. Wahlberg is a researcher in the Department of Public Law in Åbo Akademi University, Finland, a Collaborating Entity with the Master in Animal Law and Society of the UAB, where students can perform their Masters internships. Her principal line of research is the legal status of animals in different legal systems and the impact of their status on farm animal welfare. Dr. Wahlberg is also the author of various articles on Animal Law (see for example) and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Global Journal of Animal Law (GJAL).
